Let's be honest, when you're booking a photoshoot, especially if it's your first time, you're probably wondering about the bottom line: "How many photos will I actually get?" You want to know you're getting value for your investment, and that makes perfect sense. You're not alone in this thought. My clients are often concerned about the final number of images, and I want to address that concern head-on.
My Approach to Photo Delivery
I don't believe in artificially limiting the number of photos you receive. I'm not going to hold back a great shot just to stick to a predetermined number. My philosophy is simple: if it's a good photo, you get it. I want you to have a complete record of our session, capturing the full range of emotions and moments.
Quality over Quantity (But You Get Plenty of Both)
That being said, quality is paramount. After the shoot, I meticulously go through every image. I eliminate any blinks, awkward expressions, or duplicates. What remains are the best, most authentic representations of you.
Guaranteed Minimum, Unlimited Potential
While I don't put a hard cap on the number of photos you'll receive, I do guarantee a minimum number in my packages. Typically, this is around 25-30 photos per hour of shooting. However, in many cases, you'll receive significantly more than that. If we're having a great session, and I'm capturing lots of fantastic shots, I'm happy to deliver them all to you. Think of the guaranteed minimum as a safety net – you're assured of receiving at least that many beautiful, professionally edited images.
Why This Approach?
For me, it's not about squeezing every last euro out of a photoshoot. It's about creating a positive experience and delivering a collection of images that you'll cherish for years to come. I want you to feel like you received incredible value, not just in the number of photos, but in the overall quality and artistry. Limiting the number of photos feels counterintuitive to this philosophy. I'd rather you have too many amazing photos than feel like you missed out on something.
What About "Bad" Photos?
Some photographers provide 'all' the images, unedited, including the outtakes. I don't do that, and here's why: those unedited images aren't a true reflection of my work. They haven't been through my editing process, which is a crucial part of my artistic vision.
The Real Value: Comfort and Connection
Ultimately, the number of photos is secondary to the experience itself. My goal is to create a relaxed and comfortable environment where you can be yourself. I specialize in working with people who are not professional models, guiding you through poses and helping you feel confident in front of the camera. It's this comfort and connection that leads to the most genuine and beautiful photos. And that's what truly matters in the end.
