Questions and answers (FAQ)

It's sad. Let's try to change the date first. Anyway, I will keep the deposit for a year, and you can pick any other available date.
Nikon Z6 III with a Nikon Z6 II as backup/second body. Both write to two cards simultaneously. Files go to a backup drive and then to the cloud during editing. Mostly natural light; flash if needed. Lenses: 35, 50, 85mm primes; 15–30, 70–200 zooms; 90mm macro.
Come in a good mood and arrive on time, I'll take care of the rest. If you have specific poses or angles in mind, save a few examples on your phone and we can recreate them together. We can also discuss outfits and any ideas you'd like to try.
After editing, you'll receive an online gallery where you can view your photos on any device, download them in high resolution, and easily share them with friends and family.
Usually within a couple of weeks. The absolute deadline is 3 weeks. The Prime package includes a 5-day delivery time.
I don't set a hard limit. I deliver almost every good shot, removing only blinks, blurs, and missed frames. The minimum guarantee is 25 photos in the smallest package, and larger packages include many more. As I said, there's no cap.
Yes. If you allow me to publish your photos in my portfolio and on my social media, I can offer a discount of up to 80 euros, depending on the package.
That's my expertise. Most of my clients are regular people with no experience. I guide you with simple actions and gentle direction so you feel comfortable, and the result looks natural and alive.
Light or pastel colors, smart casual. Comfortable shoes are a must. If you want to use high heels, then take comfy ones with you. At least between locations, we can use. Bring hats, scarves, and sunglasses – small things that change the mood.
One outfit is usually enough for a 1-hour session, as I focus on you and your connection. If you want more variety, 2–3 outfits work well, depending on your goal. Too many changes can turn the shoot into a catalog-style session rather than a personal one.

I offer several packages. One hour usually covers most sessions. For more outfits or wider locations, 1.5 hours is better. Two hours is the most relaxed option with lots of advantages.

In Lisbon center – sunrise, almost no tourists. Beaches or parks are more flexible; you can shoot almost any time there.

It's a mix – mostly light, documentary-style moments blended with guided, staged shots. I give direction when needed, suggest places and actions, then let people live the moment. That's how you get photos that feel real, relaxed, and not forced.
It really depends on you. You share your ideas and preferences, and I will offer options based on them. You don't need to know the exact places, but you can share the mood and feeling. It will be enough. Of course, some inspirational photos and names will help, but it's not necessary.
Lisbon is huge, and it has many options to shoot. But of course, we can go to Sintra and Cascais. Visit Cabo da Roca and Pena Palace. We can go to Ericeira beaches or Azenhas do Mar viewpoints. Everything depends on you.

Womens's photo shoots in Lisbon

"I don't want to look fake." That's the sentence I hear most often before a women's portrait session. Sometimes it comes softly, sometimes almost defensively. And every time, I nod, because that's exactly the point. Women portrait photography for me has never been about perfection. It's about presence.

I work with women who want portraits that feel elegant but honest, calm but strong. Not images where you don't recognize yourself, but ones where you look and think, "Yes, that's me." In this article, I'll walk you through how women's portrait photography works with me in Lisbon, what we focus on during the session, and why authenticity always beats trying to look flawless.

What women usually want from a portrait session

Very rarely is the goal just "nice photos." Most women come with something deeper in mind. Sometimes it's confidence. Sometimes it's a new chapter in life. Sometimes it's simply the wish to finally have images they actually like.

Portraits become important when you want to be seen as you are now, not as others expect you to be. That's why I approach every women's portrait session as a personal collaboration, not a technical task.

Elegance is not about posing

Many women worry about posing correctly. Where to put hands, how to tilt the head, how to stand. The truth is, elegance doesn't come from instructions, it comes from flow.

I don't lock you into stiff poses. Instead, I guide you through small movements and natural actions. Think of it like a quiet dance with pauses, not a performance.

This approach allows your character to show without effort.

Lisbon as a quiet partner

Lisbon has a unique ability to support women's portraits without overpowering them. Soft light, textured walls, calm streets, gentle colors. The city doesn't shout, it listens.

I choose locations where you don't have to compete with the background. Places where the light wraps around you instead of cutting through you. Lisbon works beautifully for portraits that feel timeless and grounded.

What to wear to feel like yourself

Clothing should support you, not distract you. I always suggest choosing outfits that feel familiar and comfortable, not something completely new that you're unsure about.

Textures, layers, and natural fabrics usually work better than loud patterns. You don't need many outfits, you need the right ones.

We always review outfits together before shooting. You don't have to decide alone.

Feeling confident without performing

Confidence doesn't mean being loud or bold in front of the camera. Often it appears in stillness. In eye contact. In quiet gestures. In moments where you stop trying to control how you look.

My job is to create an environment where you don't feel judged or rushed. When that happens, confidence appears naturally, without forcing it.

Who women's portrait photography is for

If you're looking for heavy retouching or dramatic transformations, my approach may feel too subtle. But if you want portraits that age well and still feel true years later, then we'll likely work very well together.

Women portrait photography is for those who want elegance without losing themselves, and authenticity without exposure.

Final thoughts

Portraits don't need to be perfect to be powerful. They need to feel real. Calm. Honest. Like a quiet confirmation of who you are.

If you've been waiting for the "right moment" to do a portrait session, this might be it. Lisbon will take care of the atmosphere. I'll take care of the process. And you just show up as you are.

Sometimes that's more than enough.
